The Traveler’s Half-Coat is made from the found materials and dead-stock fabric we spent the year collecting. The two-toned coat is made with an outer shell of 100% black Italian wool coating. The inner layer is made with a 100% irregular-woven Italian pinstriped wool. The outer layer’s buttons are stacked leather punched with tarnished black-bronze grommets for the thread to secure to. Every button’s grommets have aged slightly differently while kept in storage before being collected. The pinstripe is secured with 10 buttons carved from cattle horns collected and repurposed from the waste of the meat-industry.
The half coat was inspired by layered jackets worn on top of each other, each one with their own function of pockets, cuffs, and collars. In total the Jacket has 6 pockets. There are four on the outer layer hidden between the seams running down the front facing of the jacket. The other 2 are within the inner layer, accessible only when the outer layer is unbuttoned, and worn open like a cardigan. The back of the wool is sloped below the neckline to mimic an oversized wool coat. The Jacket interior is finished with bound seams to keep the exterior from excess bulk and keeps it breathable amongst the layers of wool. The half-coat is designed to add layers and enhance the appearance of a traveler.
The sleeves are double layered to match the continuity of the traveler’s wardrobe. The exterior of this coat consists of Italian wool, while the lining is made from a rayon crepe created with excess materials from "The Row."The crepe connects back with the pinstripe at the elbow to carry through and peek out from underneath the outer layer. Our careful selection of plant-based material creates a lightweight, breathable layer around the underarm, relieving tension in an area typically prone to bulkiness. The cuffs are intended to be oversized and fit below your wrist, but for accessibility, the pinstripe layer can be folded up and cuffed on top of its wool shell for an even more organic look.

To limit over-production, waste, and unnecessary impacts on the environment, all of our garments are produced only based on the amount of orders we receive. Please allow for a grace period of 4-5 weeks for your Half-Coat to be custom made and shipped to you.

The traveler’s Pants are made from the found materials and dead-stock fabric we spent the year collecting. They are made from a soft brushed wool that is slightly thicker than the half-coat. The hips of the pants are adorned with 100% irregular-woven Italian pinstriped wool to compliment the half-coat. The buttons on the pants are a dead-stock matte silver with rustic black etchings in the center to match the thread color woven through.
The adjustable pair of pants has two wool tabs that allow for the traveler to wear the pants on either their waist or their hips. At their largest adjustment, the silver buttons can be seen tracing the line of the pants making their way to the raised curve of the back panel. At their tightest, the pinstriped pocket facing pleats under the wool and accentuates the pleat down the center front. The deep set pockets are lined with a plant-based rayon crepe made of the production scraps from the designer “The Row”.
The hem of the pants were inspired by Edwardian bloomers and blouses. It features ever so slightly ruched cuffed ends, silver buttons that allow for the pants to be adjusted to a wide legged open trouser or buttoned up for a more tailored look. When worn with an oversized coat or shirt, the details of the pants still peek through with the irregular hem and pop of silver.
